Welcome family and friends!! So many amazing and wonderful people have been a part of our adoption journey and have played big parts in Eli’s life so far. I cannot express how grateful I am for you all!! I SO wish we could all be gathering in person for a large celebration and never expected I’d be adding Virtual 1st Birthday Party Planner to my resume, yet here I am giving it a go…
This virtual party is to celebrate the first year of our amazing, brilliant, strong, sweet, and sassy baby girl Eli. She has come into our lives and completely stolen the show and our hearts. We will be gathering live on Zoom on 24 April at 3pm CST. I will be posting the Zoom link here and sending it out via text and FB as well for those interested in joining us live.
I’ve planned some fun interactive games for kids and adults alike (Scavenger Hunt, virtual escape room, TikTok Dance challenge montage, & animated greeting card “reading”), hopefully that’ll make it worth your while.
So bring yourself, your family and your favorite sweet treats and join us on Zoom!
You can click “leave a message” below to leave a note for Eli. When the party is over we will be able to print them all as a “birthday card” of all the messages for Eli to keep and as memory to read as she gets older.
For the more technologically savvy you could also create a custom animated greeting card for free at Renderforest.com. Just click on Browse templates and click on or search birthday. You should be able to email those virtual cards to me at ice_t47@yahoo.com so I can show them during her live party.
If you’re more adventurous and have rhythm you can join us in attempting a TikTok dance challenge. Pick any dance of your choice or you can try one of these three I found, https://youtu.be/sKp7CReFx5M. Another fun challenge you could try that I stumbled on, in case you’re not a dancer, was putting your empty hand in front of your child and filming their reaction. Lol I’ll show you all a couple of Eli’s reactions. Email me your video when you’ve deemed it perfected for public consumption and I’ll play a compilation montage during the live party.
Scavenger hunt rules will be explained the day of the party, but the winning person or family will get a beautiful Fair Trade item of their choice from my collection ;) ;)
Lastly, Virtual Escape Room! (If any adults are interested in doing a more difficult one RSVP to me and we can do that prior to the party during nap time at 1:30pm) I’ve found two relatively easy, free, and short kid friendly escape rooms. It was pretty easy to decide which one to do, though, because one is Harry Potter themed!!! So, come to the party having completed your sorting hat quiz if you want to participate in the escape room.
I know we’ve all been missing social interaction with our loved ones this past year, so I hope you can all join us for some laughs and fun! ????????
